How do parody accounts on Twitter get so many followers in such little time?

I never look at them.I hate falsehood. if the real person hasnt got an a/c then leave it. I know Facebook has some of the most clever ones. They must bake it clear it was a parody.
I cant imagine why so many people like them ? So many people like to see someone being made fun of.I find that repulsive.
