Ali Express. Some things look legit, others you can tell is cheap crap, but the reviews all seem so robotic and generated. I've heard they are good for some no brand stuff, but send false crap when things have a big brand. But i was wondering if this is legit: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Super-Pow...96026.html

Be smart. When in doubt walk away. In this case don't click on it.

Yes it's legit.............but you have to buy in bulk to get a good deal.......do you really need 8000 of something just to get them for 75% off.

never mind the one your looking at is per unit.

You get what you pay for it's china made items but yes the site is legit.

"If your purchase is found to be counterfeit, you can get up to two times the total amount you paid for it (shipping costs excluded). " i like that part

http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/www.aliexpress.com

While the overall rating is "trustworthy", several comments note of potential scams, poor customer experience, and unethical conducts.

That site is a Verified Business, has Transaction Protection, also they claim to have Privacy Protection. It also has a Norton secure rating which isn't easy to get.So yes it appears legit. There has been some reported spam from them.Usually when I find a site like this I trust it.But I'll be honest with you, there's something I don't trust about that site. Kind of Weird but I would not use them.

aliexpress is owned and managed by yahoo.com, the website is legit... BUT

think of it like ebay. It has different sellers from all over the country (mainly china)

with that said, you can read reviews etc of people and make your own decision..

you might be at a yahoo website but your transactions are NOT with yahoo.

i spend on average $15,000 a year on aliexpress and have never had a problem, but i do my research before i buy from them. i make sure the person selling has been there a while, has lots of transactions, etc

The website, Ali Express, is fine. It's owned by Yahoo!. The problem is they have about a million different companies selling stuff there. What you need to do is look up this particular vendor, SKYlaser, by Googling their name. One of the first things that comes up is Laser Pointer Forums (dot com). That's what you should read. You may get conflicting opinions, but many of them are likely to be from people who actually know lasers.

Several months ago I bought a 1W 447nm laser from a different vendor on Ali Express for $38. It turned out to be around 75mW 405nm, but still worth the money, especially because it came with a $20 battery (18650 with protection circuit).

Ali Express is Ok, but there are numerous sellers in different levels, need to consider if they do in real brand with so low price.
