Why is my internet connection suddenly the worst in the house?

My Mother and my Brother have full connection, no problems at all. My connection is absolute shit. There is nothing wrong with my computer that i am aware of. I was wondering if anybody knew any methods to increase the connection. Do i have to open up my computer and do some tech savy stuff to the wireless thingy? I am the closest to the router if that was what you were thinking. Do i just have to deal with this bullshit or is there something i can do?
