Why is it a bad idea to find a rommate on craigslist?

my friend and i just rented a 3 room townhouse where both 20 years old and we'd like a 3rd rommate to save money on rent and bills and we dont think finding a rommate on craigslist is a good idea

You could get the most delightful person ever but you could get anybody someone whos violent or horrible so it's too much of a risk because you don't want to be held hostage in your home though do you?
