what is world time zone ?
I have seen many times this thing in my work but i didn't get into to know whole idea of it. So recently I applied a online video webinar show, there we need to be online by the given below time format:
TITLE: Free Facebook Marketing Webinar with Mari Smith DATE: Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011 TIME: 10:00 am PST / 1:00 pm EST / 6:00pm GMT As far as i know about this is the time for a specific region we have to active or ready at this time online. But how i can get to know that i am living in India and would be ready on this same time as suite given video webinar time. Please guys come to guide me and suggest me the way to learn this new thing as well help me to do my work even more easily . . Ads |

Start with GMT, which is Greenwich Mean Time. It is the international standard, basically London time. Use a converter to figure how much to add or subtract to get the time for India. From the map, it looks like you add 5 hours, so 6:00 p.m GMT would be 11 p.m. your time.

You can use any of time-zone converters available on internet. See this-> http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html
btw, 6 PM GMT would be 11:30 PM Indian time. You might also want to check http://www.webinarbucket.com, a comprehensive listing of webinars across multiple categories and ones of your interest. Once you select a time-zone, the site automatically converts all webinars time-zone for you. |
