How can one begin to get a TPR overturned?

Not everyone in this situation is a bad parent. Some people have been falsely accused and have had their parental rights ripped away and their children stolen. I am one of those people. Please help me. Ads |

I believe you can appeal your TPR within certain time limits. You didn't give any details so I'm not sure what else to say, but you can ask the folks at https://www.facebook.com/groups/familyrights/ and they might have some advice.
This video covers a couple of cases I've heard of before, but I've also found that many people won't pay attention because they believe,"Oh, it can't be that bad. They wouldn't be able to take your children away unless you really messed up." Until you go through it yourself or see it happen to someone close to you, it's hard to believe that the courts and CPS can take your kids away in the absence of any alleged crime by the parents, based on hearsay, without a jury, and without the parents being given anything equivalent to a "Miranda warning" if the caseworker shows up unannounced and demands to be let in. Forgive me for piggybacking someone else's problem on top of your question, but if anyone thinks child protection never steps over the line, please read up on the ongoing Justina Pelletier case. I hope the poor girl is allowed to go home before the combination of Boston child protection and Boston Children's Hospital manage to ruin her health forever: #freejustina http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/02/...-and-dies/ http://abcnews.go.com/Health/advocates-f...d=22312907 Ads |
