Facebook chat keeps logging itself back on?

my gf will sometimes log in to facebook in the morning on her computer then she says she is leaving for the day. she won't put her computer into sleep mode and she keeps the facebook window open. during the day it will always either say she is logged onto facebook via web, or it will say she was last online 5-10 mins ago, then it will say she is back online again. this happened all day long.

is this normal for facebook to keep logging itself back into facebook chat when you're not even using the computer?

Its Not Normal It May Be a Bug With Facebook
