The website has been open for seven months and is registered as being a domain in China which has a problem with selling cheap, fake goods as the real product. Searching online doesn't show many people talking about this site or the goods they purchased from there which is a red flag considering how cheap the shoes are. Usually that means they are a scam. Also, remember, just because they got an official looking picture online doesn't mean the picture is of the shoe they're going to send to you. Sorry, no definite answer but I'm going to say they are fake.

They are fake
1 - Nike does not allow ANY authorised retailers to use any Nike Trademarks (Nike, Jordan, Air Max, etc) anywhere in their domain name. Any site you find but Nike.com using these terms are NEVER selling the real thing 2 - the site is based in China. REAL Jordans in China cost 30-40% MORE than in the US and Europe due to duties and taxes. There are NO real cheap Jordans out of China, they are always fake if they are cheap 3 - The site is breaking the law by failing to provide both a registered business address and contact phone number on the homepage and/or Contacts page. This is a legal requirement for all e-commerce sites. 4 - the site is also breaking the law by putting the logos for companies like Visa, DHL, etc on the bottom of their page without linking to those company websites There is nothing remotely legit about this site |

Kittysue is overstating it a bit. There is no law preventing anyone from using the words "NIKE" or "JORDAN" as part of a domain name anywhere in the world. There is no law preventing anyone from advertising the fact that they sell NIKE or JORDAN brand products. In fact, you could sell your own authentic NIKE or JORDAN products on Craigslist or eBay, if you want to, and there is nothing NIKE could do to stop you.
Therefore, the fact that someone is offering NIKE or JORDAN brand products online is not, by itself, proof that they are fakes. It's like the things you see on TV that say "not offered in store", as if there is any possible way they could actually prevent people from buying a bunch and SELLING THEM IN STORES or online. You can always contact the vendor's headquarters and ask them to verify whether your goods are counterfeit or authentic. |
