Why can't I see someone's info on Facebook anymore?

So, here's the background. I recently started going to a college, and am in the network. This allows me to see the information of people in the same network who have their settings as such. There are two individuals (that I am not friends with) that I checked out on a regular basis. However, I can no longer see their information.

The perfectly logical explanation is that they both changed their privacy settings for completely unrelated reasons. However, I'm paranoid that 1) Facebook has "disallowed" me from viewing their pages, or 2) they can see that I've been to their page (which I know is impossible).

In any case, any input would be much appreciated.

they probably just changed their settings. don't be so paranoid. facebook had been getting slammed lately for having bad privacy setting so maybe facebook just changed the rules, i dont know.

Don't be paranoid. These people probably just changed their privacy settings. There is no way to see who views your profile. You can also block someone specific from seeing certain things on your profile but they can't do that if you're not their friend. So... don't be paranoid.
