Internet explorer won't respond?
So recently my internet explorer won't respond. This means I cannot click anything when it opens and after a few seconds, windows closes it down automatically. I have done a fully anti virus scan and nothing was found, I have tried to restart it but for some reason, internet explorer is not under my programs list so I cannot restart. I don't know what else to do as I cannot access it and cannot disable add ons. Can someone help me fix this?

Okay, I don't know what IE you have? But you can try this↓

For IE 8 & IE 9
Go to Start <> control panel <> Internet options <> advanced <> click
reset <> Place a check mark in the box that says delete personal settings <> Then click OK

For IE 10
1. Click start
2. Click control panel
3. Up top click the advanced tab
4. Click Restore advanced settings
5. Click apply then click OK
Works for IE11 also I think.

Hi,

Probably this is the time you should consider using google chrome in your sytsem. For internet explorer go to control panel add remove programs and remove internet explorer from there but for that you have to have a windows installer CD to reinstall IE with default settings. You can also go to c:\programfilesx86\ and then internet explorer\Iexplore right click and go to properties and in advanced tab click the reset button to reset internet explorer with default settings.

Good Luck.

Stop using Internet Explorer. It has nothing but problems. Download and use ether Firefox or Chrome
