How do I start talking to him?

I am a junior, and he is a senior.
I always see him walking past me in the school hallways.
We have no classes together. We never talked. We know nothing about each other.
I think he is cute, and want to talk and get to know him. Or at least say "hi" to him before he graduates this year.
I don't think he ever noticed me because he never looks my way in the hallways.
He seems like those quite mysterious guys, which I like.
I did some research and found out his name. Turns out no one knows anything else about him.
I searched him up on facebook, but his profile has no information on it.

Anyways, I want to talk to him but don't know how to. I don't want to randomly say "hey" while walking past him in the hallways because that is just weird, and he might think I am creepy.

So, can you guys give me any suggestions on what to do?
