What is the most affordable fiber optic internet service in Illinois?

I live in Tinley Park, Illinois- which is in the Cook county region. I have currently been without at-home Internet for almost a year, and would like to incorporate this back into my household.

I have been leaning towards FiOS specifically because it fits the criteria of internet service I need in order to function properly online.

The internet is usually used for several reasons being: (Casual~Hardcore) Gaming, Art (i.e. Graphic Design), Streaming Movies/TV, and basic personal needs. Also, there is usually multiple devices in use at the same time.

I am not trying to skimp on the Internet service; however, I do not need any of the extras that some providers include. I ONLY truly need Internet. Granted, I do not want to over pay which is why I could also consider Cable internet.

I do have a couple options on the back burner, but would love further input.

Note: I am a student with descent income.
