TV does broadcast in multiple frequencies multiplexed in a single channel cable while internet is a connection to multiple channels worldwide. it's like fetching all globe's channels into a single broadcast anywhere the world at any time, which requires a whole different management and technical efficiency. so it's easy to fetch some streams which are generally regional and local to the relaying stations than to capture whole world's streams altogether. That would need more efficient systems and arrangements to accomplish.
