The best way to get followers is by following blogs that share similar interests to you, and by posting original stuff. Reblogging is good too, since people who like the same things you do will enjoy it, but it doesn't get you as many followers. Adding random people generally makes the site a bit less interesting though, since it clutters your dash with things that you may not like or enjoy. Anyway, I hope you have fun.
