I don't remember setting up an admin password. all I want to do is re-install firefox. im using windows 8.1, can someone please help?

You can't. You need to ask the administrator of the machine to do it.

I suspect you're going to be majorly disappointed. All too often, programs don't completely uninstall. I think you'll find that after you solve the admin rights problem and reinstall Firefox that the toolbar will reappear. I hope I'm wrong.... but I doubt it.
If you're the only person who has ever used that computer and you didn't set up an administrator password, it won't ask you for one. |
