Disavow Web Directory links?
Hi,
Our site itestcash.com seems to have lost rankings for some keywords on google for some reason in the past few months, I wonder if some backlinks the site have might be a reason for it. Here are some examples - GreenStalk Quality Web Directory Security ismb02 Directory- Business & Economy > Security FAT64.NET - Fattest Free Directory of the NET - Business General Business Web Directory- Business & Economy > Security RDARestructuring Global Business Directory- Business & Economy Do you think disavowing them might help? Most directory sites are crap backlink sources but should not be poisonous. It may be useful to have the site registered with Google Webmaster Tools so your able to receive any warning messages, people often don't start shedding links until getting an Unnatural link pattern warning. You do want to mix up your sources and use no more than about 15% keyword anchor text to maintain that natural looking link profile.
Briefly glancing I didn't see any bad neighborhood links, OpenSiteExplorer.org reports you have 5 Domains providing 393 Total Links. Ads |

The disavow tool is really for those hit with a manual penalty.
Only once did I see somewhere sometime on a forum (I don't remember where exactly) a webmaster saying that his rankings improved after he disavowed tens of thousands of spammy links. A few other people said they received a manual penalty shortly after disavowing their links (they had NO manual penalties when that happened), which could have been a coincidence, but you never know. So, if your backlink profile is sparkling white-hat and you only need to rid of those directory links, you could try, But I'd expect that someone at Google might take a look at your site after you disavow stuff. |
