How do i email someone on tumblr?

I need to email someone from tumblr. how do i get their email? they haven't been active in 9 months
How would I ask them? like what would i say?

Unless they have given you their email address, you can't. Tumblr won't release their personal information. But when you send them an 'Ask' they will get an email notification, so they will get your message without going onto tumblr
