Why do liberals blame all or most of Obamas 71/2 t debt on Bush?

There's plenty of blame for both of them, but Bush set the trend. I can't even imagine what the next one will do.

When Obama took office there was a $1 trillion budget deficit. This was caused by Bush's tax cuts for the rich, pointless wars overseas, and recession reducing tax revenues.

Obama has now cut the deficit in half, to $500 billion a year. Most of that $500 billion a year is just interest on debt that's already been racked up.

it's always the blame game with you americans, or so it seems.

Because of taboos, getting deeper in debt is the ONLY way additional money is created, which is the only wat to keep your economy growing (or even just not shrinking). Money does not grow or reproduce, but people still want to become richer

The question always turns on who created that 1.4 trillion deficit in 2009. Cons love to give that to Obama, when reality is that 3/4 of it derives from Bush. the 2009 fiscal year started under Bush, not Obama; the main spending plan was instituted by Bush. Obama added the "stimulus package" spending to the already huge 2009 deficit as an emergency response action in face of the so-called "Great Recession". Cons love to pretend two things: 1) that the 2009 deficit belongs to Obama when it doesn't, and 2) that Obama did nothing for the economy, when without that injection of close to 400 billion extra spending, the likelihood is that the great recession would have been "the even greater depression than the great depression of the 1930s"

where are the jobs, cons love to ask? I love to answer that they flew away under the "deficits don't matter" policies of the republicans. Getting them back is not as easy as they want it to be. You cannot total an automobile and then expect to drive home in it as though nothing happened, and it sure is freaking stupid to blame the new driver for the crash caused by the driver that ran away and hid for the next four years.

Obama NEVER takes responsibility for his own actions, so everybody knows that no matter what Bush did it. If Sniper Bullet Hillary gets in the White House she will continue to blame Bush for everything because no blame can ever be associated anything that a democrat did. Bush will be 120 years old and still will be blamed for everything. There is never any mention about Obama & Pelosi sitting there laughing when they misplaced 1 trillion dollars and could not find it.
