How do you get more followers on my blog?

I have recently started a blog. I have shared my page on multiple websites but I can't get any followers? Please help, what do i need to improve on? Will it just happen overtime?

I advise you to market your blog on various social media aswell as integrate 'like',+1 etc. buttons on your blog to spread the message of your blogs hopefully interesting content to social media in order to recruit more follows.

Also recommend you register your blog on google webmaster tool if you havent already and make sure it's indexed.

You don't say what your blog is about. In order to get followers, your blog needs to be something that will interest a wide variety of people. If the blog doesn't interest many people, you won't have many followers. Also, if the blog is poorly written, you won't get many followers.

Promote your blog on your Facebook page, if you have one. You could also have a "sub page" under your original Facebook page that has your blog's name and post to that page each time you publish a new post.

Also, what site is your blog on? You could try creating the same blog, but with re-worded content, under a few different blog sites. This way, you could see which one is getting the most views and stick with that one.
