How to edit pictures for free?
I see people on Instagram and such with pictures like this
- faces cropped onto an animal, they're bodies somewhere else than the orignial picture, etc.
-writing ontop of the picture in different fonts
-special effects such as the pictures tint/color change

and i was wondering if there was some free app OR something on the computer that could allow me to do that.

im guessing they have a very expensive computer (mac), but i dont, i have a Samsung (newer one). I just want to be able to blog pictures and things of that nature Smile

You can get Google's PICASA image editing & organising software for free from http://picasa.google.com/

You can also get a free trial of "Corel Paintshop Photo Pro X4" from http://www.corel.com/corel/product/index...id=2500058

But the previous version that I use (and previously cost £75) now sells for less than £25 on Amazon UK
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywo...p8m36mju_e

You can also do it online through your web browser with images you've uploaded to your Photobucket account @ http://www.photobucket.com

GIMP is another popular free photo editing software
http://www.gimp.org/

So is "IrFan View" http://www.irfanview.com/

And finally "Serif PhotoPlus" http://www.serif.com/free-photo-editing-software/

Paint is a free program that comes bundled in Windows operating systems. You can do a good amount of photo editing with paint, not so hard to teach yourself either.
If you need something more high end, get Gimp http://www.gimp.org/.

I use Photoshop which is cross platform (Windows/Macintosh), and Gimp is closest thing to it in my experience, and it's free.
