Im a little shaken up about the internet! please help!?

Okay so on weeworld.com i made firends and i hang out with them. And one of them drew a picture and wants to show me. So he asked for my email. I made up a lame excuse to get out of it and left quickly. Then later he asked again but then he had to go. Now he said when he gets back he will show me, idk what to do!!!

I know not to give out my email but i need an excuse to not give it to him! Not "i dont have an email" im old enough that i have one and he knows i do. So help me pleeeaaaseeee!

Why wouldn't you give out your email? As long as it doesn't have any personal information in the address, you have nothing to worry about. Someone couldn't get anything with it unless they had your password for the email account.

Just make a new email address with fake personal info and give it to him. No need to give him your personal email. This way he will shut up and you are safe from spams. You dont even have to talk to him you know. Just delete him from friends or something.

1. Just tell him you're not going to give out your email.
OR
2. Make up a new email at gmail.com, Hotmail.com, outlook.com, mail.com, yahoo.com or any of the other bajillion different free email account places and use a fake location, date of birth, full name and so on so he has absolutely no real personal info about you. You can also use this email for signing up for contests and things like that so you won't get spammed in your real email.

3. Don't go on the internet and chat with strangers anymore. If you wouldn't do something in real life, why would you do it in the cyber world?

4. Just give the dude your email address... I mean you could at least just tell him you're not comfortable with doing it now but maybe later and just see how the dude reacts. If he flips out, then crisis overted you know he's a nut job and move on. If he's cool about it and doesn't bug you for a while, then when you're comfortable let him have it.

5. Change your name, move, turn off your Wii forever and don't ever look back... Not really an option I just hope you read it with a crazy person tone of voice like I'm all paranoid and freaked out... LoL
