how is this not a valid date of birth !!!?

ok so i am trying to register for a paypall account but it keeps saying that my date of birth is not valid and its starting to p**s me off now because it quite obviously is valid-

8/7/1990

i mean am i missing something hear because how is that not a valid date of birth !!!
btw my birth date was the 8th of July 1990 so if i have made a silly mistake would you mind correcting me thanks

Try 08/07/1990 or maybe switch the year and day around 1990/07/08

I have had the same trouble several times no American site seems to have a way of recognising both Uk and America styles
