Marketing a "North American" product in one or more international markets can be challenging. Identify some examples, were the launch of a North American project in an international market that was a failure.....Why did it fail?

Electrical Goods, as different voltage in International markets

I think Robert's point is a good one, but i would hope this would be determined before any great efforts were made. Otherwise, it can be a challenge to really reach the market because of attempts were misguided or a lack of financing to really give a product a proper push. It can also be that the markets approached didn't have any interest in the product for a multitude of reasons. They might have a comparable product they have used for years that they really like, or it the product they like is less expensive or they might prefer how what they have looks. Even deep pockets can't ensure adoption or success.
