What is the best internet service provider in my area?

I live in the southeastern suburbs of Wisconsin and there's no cable line that reaches our house. We currently use a wireless ISP called NetwurX. It can be fast at times, but when it's receiving lots of traffic or when I'm downloading large files, it becomes slower than molasses. Often times I can't even watch YouTube videos in 144p.

I play a lot of online multiplayer games in which a quality ISP is necessary, and being that my ISP lags a lot, it's hard for me to do that.

So my main question is: Is there an ISP available in my area that doesn't require a cable line?

No, I don't want satellite internet.
