Deleted off facebook but still comes up as friend ??

Someone deleted me off facebook after we fell out and when I type in the first letter of their name in the search box they come up in amongst my friends with no add friend sign but when I click on their page it says add friend ... Just wondering why it says that and if they can still my profile?? Confused me a little bit.

You seem to be confused about how Facebook works. No one can "delete you from Facebook". You are the only one (aside from Facebook if you break the rules) who can deactivate/delete your account. What this friend probably did was unfriend you. Unfriending you is not the same as blocking. It is also not "deleting you off Facebook".

When you are unfriended, you can still see the other person's profile if that person doesn't have their account set to private and they can still see your profile if it's not set to private. However, they may be able to still see your posts if you have mutual friends.

If you were blocked, you would not be able to see that person in a Facebook search and they would not be able to see you. So, if you don't want that person to see you at all, including your posts to mutual friends' walls, you need to block that person.

Yeah sorry I did mean unfriend not delete lol. I just don't understand why when I type the first letter of their name in my search box it comes up with their profile inbetween all my friends with no add friend symbol but when I click on their profile it says add friend... Can they still see my stuff even though I can't see theirs?
