does anyone know how to use http://www.freelancer.com ?
Hello

Please carefully read my question before answering it.

Today I visited http://www.freelancer.com.

I created an account. I made a work account, and not a hire account.

I added my skills in my profile.

I don't understand the point of this website.

If I make a bid, then will I have to pay to work?

Please correct me if I am wrong. If I use this website, I have to pay to work, and I don't get paid after I do a job.

How do I make a bid on this website?

Please explain what I should do to make a bid, for a job.

Hi Franco,

I also tried using freelancer.com and based on what I've experienced. You don't need to pay in order to get the job. Employers put their budget on each project then freelancers bid how much will it cost if they will work on the project. You can easily bid on each project by putting the estimated amount salary you desire when you do the job. However, it should not exceed on the bidding amount. Employers will screen freelancers based on their skills, expertise and their cost if it meets the budget. Then they will contact the freelancer/s if they got the project.

You can also check other freelancing sites such as https://www.staff.com/ where you can look for jobs full time and don't need to bid on projects. Employers will hire you if they want your service.
