192.168.1.1 error page while connected to 192.168.1.4?

192.168.1.1 error page while connected to 192.168.1.4?
I have a samsung galaxy 2 tablet that I use at school, which connects to the internet just fine there, but when I come home I continuously get a "sign into wifi" notification, even if I have already put in a password. If I click the notification it takes me to the web browser were it attempts to load a page with a URL that says 192.168.1.1 error page but is never successful. The ip for my home wifi is 192.168.1.4. What is the best way to get my tablet back online?
Password has been checked multiples times. Not the issue.
