how do i change my Twitter username the right way?

I know how to change my twitter username tho, i did it before , but then i stopped getting notifications!! Did i do it wrong? Cause i have android so idk what to do ...help!!

Changing your twitter username is quite easy to achieve. All you need do is
- log in to your twitter account
- Click on the gear icon at the top right corner of the screen
- Click on Settings to load up the change username form page.
- You can then delete the old username from the username box and type in the new one
- Click on Save Changes, type in your password and you are good to go.

If you followed the above laid down steps, then you are headed in the right direction and that hasn't got anything to do with your not receiving notifications, unless you had mistakenly removed your email from the username change form.
