If I ask a question and someone replys and I want to type something else, how do I do tht?

Go to an appropriate forum site where threads better support chat style interaction.

Click on your avatar and go into your account. Open that question. Click on the EDIT (pencil) and write out any additional comments that you have. As long as you don't ask for personal information or feelings, you are allowed to extend your question length.
