what is his problem?
Ok so i go to school with this Asian boy who is from Bangladesh. Everyday in math class he just acts like everything is always a competition with me. Like if he gets a better score then me he would rub it in my face and act like im stupid. He would always insult me saying "oh your too smart to understand this" and make fun of me. Mind you im not a spectacular math wiz. I help other when they need help with it and that's pretty much it. I never nor will i ever put someone down just because they dont understand something. People come to me everyday asking for math homework answers like i just know everything but really all i do is pay attention and do my work. Im one of those quiet shy types. Im often looked at as a dork . So he asks me why i don't speak up or speak my mind and all that crap. Im just not the type that likes public attention :/ I never even talked to this guy either, he just started being a real jerk to me all of a sudden. I don't know much of the Asian culture but i do know that they are very competitive when it comes to academics, but how can you be competitive with a person that isn't even trying to be better then you? What should i do? Sad

Knowing he's from Bangladesh, I'm pretty sure academics were of large importance: a cultural value (if I may add). School rankings. I believe, would be something he's using to connect to you -- to get to know you better. It's probably a medium for social contact. Anyhow, competition is good Big Grin. Competition is what brings success; however, in any case, I'm pretty sure it's just him trying to get to know you better.
