Twitter verification help?

okay so I'm trying to get verified on Twitter they said I have to send a direct tweet to them but when I try to it says that they have to follow back to send them a DT. So is there another way to contact them or any other alternative method. I meet the requirements for it too with my website and my info.

Most people are very curious how to get verified on twitter. Well, I say its really not so tough if you know the process. I verified one of my fan page recently by using their tricks. They really have some cool stuff and works so fast.
