I don't want to see my friends anymore?
I have a group of friends (7 friends) from college and I am not really up for seeing them anymore. We all used to have fun together, go to town, go to the cinema, etc. All they do now pretty much is smoke Cannabis and go out to parties. I used to smoke that drug myself for about 7 months before I quit and I haven't used it in a year now. I never liked smoking much, it was an ex girlfriend who got me into it and I was ashamed that I was with her but that's another thing that I do not want to get into. So anyway I haven't seen my friends in about a month now, we talk on Facebook every now and then but I'm kind of bored of friends to be honest. I prefer working my job and at some point I hope to join the British Army as I'm fit enough for it and I like it's opportunities.

I do not seem bothered that I am going to end up with no friends soon because I am more interested in my future. All they do is party all the time and only 3 of them have jobs whereas the rest don't work.

The fact that they smoke weed and like partying alot is not the sole reason for me not wanting to hang out with them anymore. Lately I have been feeling that I don't want friends anymore because I have grown bored of their habits and activities.

So is this a good thing to not see them anymore?

What you are saying is not that you don't want friends, but that you don't want to be friends with this old group of 7 people.

Nothing wrong with that. They sound like a stagnant bunch. You on the other hand are looking to make something of yourself and your life.

You've moved on. And given the direction you've taken, it sounds like an EXCELLENT move on your part.
Good Luck!
