How to get Myspace traffic?

Hi! I just got a myspace account. I did it because I am trying to get some products I am selling, out on the market. Problem is I don't know anyone on Myspace, so I don't know how to get people to see my stuff. Also having the same problem with Twitter. I have a total of one person following me.

You have to go out and send messages to people, they won't come to you.

But that is also known as spamming.

join some discussion forums, and advertise your myspace page in your signature.

Fb is more common now a days, but if you make your page public, have an appealing layout and a few catchy songs...should easily get more traffic. Also, partake in forums, join groups, and add a few friends of your own. Cast your net...of course, slutty pictures usualy work well on myspace...jk. but seriously, just have appeal and don't come of as creeper in your messages to complete strangers.

although you see lots of people trying to sell things on myspace, it's not the best place to advertise things... most people will consider it spam

people use myspace to communicate with their friends, they dont want their space invaded by people selling things
