There are two laptops in the house. One is sending:5m and receiving: 81m bytes. Where as mine, since Sunday, is only sending 5,000 and receiving 7,000 bytes and can't connect to the internet (continually pending).
What is causing this and how can I fix it ? Also, my mobile and PS3 connections have remained strong too. Ads |

If you're using wi-fi, try putting your router closer to your laptop.
Or maybe the network card of your laptop is old and doesn't work that well as newer ones... Ads |

Different laptops/computers have different receptors for signal. Some are better than others as expected. To compensate I'd recommend a wifi booster or a power line adapter. A wifi booster would be better for more than just your laptop but not as effective as a power line adapter, however a PLA (as we'll call it) will need to be near a plug.
