Galaxy Ace 2 USB Mass Storage, for picture recovery?
This morning I was playing around with my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, switching my SD cad to an SD card with more space on it, and all of my pictures and videos were deleted. I've been trying to recover them for 4 hours now, and I managed to recover my instagram and Kik photo albums, but not the pictures from my camera album. (most important) I checked both SD cards for the pictures and they aren't there. I've tried recovery apps, but nothing works because my phone is not rooted, and that's not something I think I want to do. I downloaded Remo Recovery onto my laptop, but it says my phone cannot be recognized, I need to USB Mass Storage settings. I cannot find it anywhere. Please help! There is no helpful information on the setting for the Galaxy Ace 2 on google.

This has worked for me several times, so I will pass it on. Plug it in the port, heat it with a hair dryer, wait a minute, plug it in and out a couple times. If it still does not work try the same thing with compressed air to cool it. If it start working copy the data as it may stop working again any time...

The small microprocessor on the motherboard will reload the drivers and your USB ports should be back to recognizing all devices! to achieve this simply power down you pc as you normally would and then unplug it from the wall for about 2 minutes. plug it back in and power up. hope this works for you.
