why cant i use my old gamecenter?

ok so i had an ipod 4 for a long time. i played alot of gamecenter games. i just recently got a new iphone 4s. my apple id was an email that i did not know the password to nor did i know the passwordto the actual apple id although this was never a problem because i was always signed in. now i got this iphone so i rset my apple id password using my email that i know the password to. however somehow my apple id magically changed to the email i know and the password was reset to what i liked aswell. however i know it is the same account because it has my old purchases same apple id but it wont let me use gamecenter.

one note: ios 7 was preinstalled on iphone. the ipod only had ios 6

kind of mad had really good clash of clans base on old gamecenter and i want it back

I think this is some glitch. I also have a 4S, and GameCenter is possessed. I have no "friends" in the Sims, I can't play multiplayer for some of the games. I'm waiting for the next patch...
