it's not always about PR it's about the number of links you have going from and too your site

you need to go into forums and start answering questions fill in your profile and in the signature panel put in your website address.

don't spam forums unless you know the answer this can get you a bad reputation or get you banned from the site. so make sure you read and know the answer to the questions that you have knowledge in.
