aggressive advertising on yahoo homepage?

Is it me only that is getting annoyed at the aggressive advertising on the home page. You have been selected to win this or win that is continuous. That and the almost impossible to get rid of adverts that have no X to click on are driving me mad.

yahoo is a failing company. they need to generate revenue somehow.

Google are worse. They own Youtube and are now starting to put 30 second ads on videos that you "have" to watch.

But I agree it can be annoying on Yahoo sometimes.
