Does compliance with ISO 27001 mean that a data center is secure?
I need a bit of help on a question for my information systems class.

Does compliance with ISO 27001 mean that a data center is secure? Does it mean that no security threat against compliant data centers will be successful? What does it mean?

Security is a relative thing, the pentagon having been hacked is one indication that there are no absolute guarantees of security.

ISO 27001 does involve some form of external audit, which one would hope provides 'state of the art' conformance.
