There are so many things you need to take care of in order to increase website performance. Firstly content has to be good . Present sufficient content in your blog. After that , try to use different kind of social media which will give you social exposure and will increase viability. And getting some link back to your sites help a lot.

You can start with a few basic steps like
1.Using single stylesheet(CSS) file than multiple references. 2.Optimize images to 100 KB or so.. 3.Using single Js file than multiple references. 4.Minifying (ie removing spaces) css and js files to make it compact. 5.Server side / Client side caching 6.Loading ads in webpage via iframe.. Check your website performance with yahoo's plugin called YSlow. For details check the Yahoo's recommendation. |
