if one of my blog posts rank heigher in search engine results?

how will it affect the other blog's posts?
example: let's say i have a blog about cats. one blog post uses the keyword "cats food", and i manage to bring lots of traffic to it from facebook and other social media. google will rank it heigher if it gets more traffic. does that mean that my other blog post "cats beds" will rank heigher, too?
