What Domain Registrar is Right for Me?
I have been hosting my website on bravehost/bravesites for a month now and I have already found problems. My site is for lacrosse it has power rankings and a forum. Bravesites has a couple things I dislike, the forums are bland, the support isn't good, it doesn't offer privacy protection, and the site builder is bad.
I would like a new registrar that has the following: 1. The ability to host a forum (phpbb would be good, the bravesites forum isn't very detailed) 2. a good website builder 3. tech support 4. whois privacy for the entire life of the domain (free or included for cheap) 5. the ability to host emails at the domain 6. unlimited or several domains if possible, I need to make another website as well 6. reasonable pricing Thanks. Firstly classify your things, domain registrar provides you different thing and hosting provider provides you different thing.
From Domain Registrar You will Get following things - Domain name - Privacy protection - Free/paid email a/c - support for your domain related queries You can get free privacy protection and cheaper rate for domains at http://www.netlynxinc.com From Hosting Company You will Get following things: - Hosting/web space(Linux hosting will be good for PHPbb forums) - Host for your Emails - website builder - you can host unlimited domains on single hosting You can host your unlimited domains with unlimited hosting at hostgator.com |

Honestly, although I am a provider of domain names and e-mail, one of the best providers for domain names has to be Godaddy.com. LOL, there I said it... You get 24/7 support and there's always someone on the phone to assist. Although their control panel takes a little getting used to, it's still very easy to use.
