is there any way possible that i can get a tumblr url deleted so i can have it?

this url i want hasn't been used in five years. they don't have a single post on the blog and it is really killing me that such a good url is wasted. it's related to my favorite character so of course i want it-- i just think it's a shame nobody is using it when i would get a great use out of that url! i understand if there is no way that this can happen, it's just a shame because i envy whoever has this url so much and i'd get such a good run out of it.

No you can't. It depends on them whether they change it or not so that you can get it. Try contact & request them. Otherwise there is no way.
