Password issues can be browser-related. I'd clear your browser's cookies and cache, close your browser, and then open it again before trying to reset your password. Passwords shouldn't be changed more than once every 24 hours.
Clearing browser's cache and cookies - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/yahoo-account/...sions=true You can also try using a different browser to see if that allows you to change your password. Password change issues can also be the result of using ad blockers or pop-up blockers. You should disable these options before you can change your password. Disable ad blocking software to change your password - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=con...OD_MAIL_ML My password is not working - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=con...=PROD_ACCT Changing your password - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN2035.h...sions=true Yahoo password requirements - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN5681.h...sions=true Creating a secure, strong password - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=con...OD_MAIL_ML Once you change your password it would be a good idea to review your security questions and make changes if you don't remember your answers. Changing your security questions - https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN2031.h...sions=true I recommend using a password manager like Keepass or LastPass to create and store strong unique passwords for the sites you visit. You can also save notes like your secret questions and answers to the password entries. LastPass can automatically log you in to any web site you have stored in its database. Ads |
