Facebook timeline implementation August 17?
So tomorrow the mandatory timeline thing happens. What I want to know is why that doesn't appear on everyone's page. Ex: it appeared on mine and my dad's but my mom who also has a facebook doesn't say anything about mandatory timelines and her facebook page comes up the same as the old facebook pages? I don't really want a timeline, is there a way to prevent it? Does this maybe have something to do with security reasons? ( My mom's facebook unlike my dad's is set to be very private).
Please let me know what you all think. Ads |

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update - they are now forcibly converting everyone slowly without your consent
this guide will help you learn how to use it http://abrax.us/Facebook/TimelineGuide.php eventually everyone will be converted, including your mother, just not all on the same day |

Once Timeline has been activated on your account, theres no way to remove it. Everyone will have timeline by the Fall (Autumn) as Facebook publically stated this fact.
BTW You can view all personal timeline pages in the old style single column profile page layout format via this simple guide: http://fbpurity.com/disable-timeline The method is safe and it really works, check the feedback the page has got, over 65,845 likes, and hundreds of positive comments. FB Purity has been reviewed and highly rated in The Washington Post, CNET, Lifehacker and PC World Source(s) : http://fbpurity.com |
