No traffic after changing wordpress permalink structure :(?
2 months back i created a website...Yesterday, I changed the permalink structure of URL.......Now the people who are vising my website through google are facing an error "Sorry, no posts matched your criteria."...Although the posts are still on the website, but with a different URL...

Is there any way i can redirect the visitor to the respective new url of each post...

I believe you could create a 301 redirect from each of the old addresses to it's new counterpart, that could require a tedious editing session and some .htaccess file code learning, a 301 redirect also shifts any page rank of the old url to the new one, it's an acceptable solution with the search engines.

Hopefully you went from a cryptic post-1213 url format to the page title in the url, which should pay off in seo terms in the long run.

If your site is registered with Google Webmaster tools you can make a reindex request that might speed the search listing updates.

Having a 404 page in your site can have a negative effect in your PageRank, so here’s a very useful tutorial on how you can find and redirect broken links in your blog.
