Why is there no privacy on Facebook anymore?
I hate the new layout and so does all my friends. Why can you see everytime someone likes or comments on something and you can see what they have written. I hate it because if I were to like about 50 things each one would come up for everyone to see and people might wonder why I am liking so many things. On the old layout they can't see what you have liked or commented on unless they went on your profile. Does anyone else find the new layout annoying?

Actually, I like it. Quite enjoyable. Well, I got my Facebook taken away actually. BUT, that new layout was amazing. Are you talking about that little side bar above the online friends you have? Yeah, it's like having TWO news feeds, therefore making it easier for me to stalk ex's. Haha. (;

Great question, and you're half right! There's several different areas now where you can select who can view your information. There's no longer simply a privacy page filled with lists of options. Now Facebook has tried to make it faster and simpler by placing the option right next to whatever it is you're doing or playing with "right then & there" "right on the spot"! So look, next to everything you do on Facebook there's usually a little icon, either an arrow, or a tiny small globe of the Earth that's gray in color, or a wheel that looks like a gear out of a watch or clock mechanism. Click or hover your pointer over that, and a scroll down list will appear. The options on the list are who you want to allow to view your information. The choice is now yours! Not everything has a privacy option on Facebook, but most things do. Go to the actual thing you're wanting to do, or have people view or hide from them, and look around, Facebook put the button right next to that item. Facebook still has a privacy page filled with lists of things you can click to allow or hide, but mostly they've put the options right next to the actual action and item that you're trying to hide. -Ben :0)
