False advertising!!!!!!!?
Hi please help
I brought a bed yesterday that said sold as seen as it was the display one, it came from quiet a big shop, it had a mattress on it too, so cos it said sold as seen I thought you got the lot!!! NO!
Was told mattress wasn't included even though there wasn't a sign saying this! Complained to head office and was told no bed is sold with a mattress! Oh yes they are!!
It wasn't a bed shop it was b and m!!!

Yeah that's sounds like false advertisement to me. If it's a small business bed store they can get away with that type of stuff. But if it was a store say a sleep number store for example you can take actions higher up the chain until they get it right.

Most bed stores sell beds (frame) and mattress as separate items. If you are looking for both together you look for divan or bed sets which are clearly marked as complete. I have never bought a bed that was frame and mattress as they are always marked as separate items.

They are ALWAYS separate as people want different strengths of mattresses. You assumed,- you should have asked.

Just return it and ask for a full refund. As long as you have not slept in it, they can't refuse to take it back. They might charge you for transportation but they have to give you back your money.

Makes sense to me, they usually aren't sold together.
