Should I trust people I met online?
I was just on Omegle and I was trying out the video for the first time, but i kept my cam off. I met these two Bulgarian brothers around my age. They seemed really friendly and we had a conversation where i could see them and they couldn't see me. I didn't give any other personal information about me other than my name and my KIK username whilst they gave me their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/robert.delion?fref=ts

I've never been to Bulgaria and I have no idea what it's like there. Is it a safe country, is it poor...?
They kept asking me to turn my camera on so they could see me but I didn't show them myself.
I've now got them on KIK but i'm not sure if I should continu talking to them and show them who I am. I know how dangerous the internet is.

What do you think I should do?

According to me, Don't ever trust anyone.
Some people are good, I agree. But many are not...
It's up to you. Smile

Have fun communicating with them online.

But give out no personal information and DO NOT travel to see them. Same goes for inviting them to see you.

Social well-being/wealth of a country shouldn't be much of a factor in qualifying a person. That would be similar as to calling someone fat because they're American- (the created stereotype). Be wary of websites and apps you use, even Facebook isn't 100% safe. For all you know they could be tapping into your life or they could just be simple kids. Ultimately it's your choice whether to trust them or not, just think- they live all the way on the other side of the world, what could happen? Don't interpret that loosely.

First of all, where someone is from is not a good way to decide if they are trustworthy. There are plenty of people that you don't know in the city where you live now who are very dangerous to trust, and there are others who may be your beat friend some day. Based on the information you give I don't think you should trust them. I'm thinking that if you have to ask, then the answer is no because you gut feelings about these people are not good otherwise you would have already invited them in. Good for you for being so careful. I've learned that in the gaming communities, most people just want to scam, cheat, and steal from you any way they can. Make sure you never, ever give anyone your passwords to anything. There are people who will friend you, gain your trust over time, get your password any way they can, then take every thing you have.

I can barely trust people I already know, let alone the people I meet online... so my answer would be no.
