For a simple online brochure you could use a free host, maybe a blog platform like Blogger.com with the right template selection and a professional domain name costing about $12/yr.

For a more comprehensive site a developer might charge $100 to $5000, you can save some money by getting a pre-designed template at templateMonster.com fill in the content, perhaps employing a developer to do minor revisions, such a site can go on a hosting account costing $4 - $9/mo, a basic account at Hostgator might give you better support than a bare bones host.

Be sure you look at vending machine franchise businesses as one alternative to the photo booth thing.

Have you seen the re-occurring talking photo booth gags on Jay Lenno?

Try GoDaddy.com I believe they host websites for $9 a month or something like that. And if your site gets popular enough, people will pay you to advertise on it ! Now, if you have no idea how to actually create the site, it will be costly to pay someone to do it for you. So maybe it's a good idea to make a site on another site, because it's free and it will give you a layout. A good site to check for this is Blogger.com. Also, are you on Etsy.com? This is a great site for handmade items. I know in the past AOL even offered free website space. Not sure if they do anymore. You can always try a google search for free website space! And there's plenty of YouTube videos to explain how to do things to your site. Best of luck

If you're going to hire a web designer/developer they usually quote you the estimate price in putting up your site until it gets operational, including a few optimization if needed be. Sites like Odesk https://www.staff.com are top searched sites when somebody is looking to hire a developer/designer depending on your budget. They usually offer free posting of jobs which makes it more beneficial to business owners who wanted to get the jobs outsourced in different countries at a very low rate yet of quality work.
If you want to have a full time employee who can take care of your site then Staff.com would be the best option.

You can do it for under $20. I paid about $13 for my domain name for the whole year and then hosting is pretty cheap. I learn best via video and watch the youtube channel How To Make a Website:

In my company we start at $299. That is if you want something nice. You should avoid the canny website design look especially since it reflects your business no matter how big it is. Your corporate identity is huge.
